These works are part of Lainchbury's ongoing exploration of sex, spirituality and creation from within a Te Ao Maori context.

Fluid, serpentine and sinewy Manaia forms envelop and surround the humanoid figures in the act of ejaculation/orgasm to convey the spiritual links of human creation and procreation to greater cosmic creation narratives
